UX Research & Insights
Reviewing the existing platform and client feedback revealed several key insights. Buyers usually search by area rather than exact address, making map exploration essential. The previous filtering system was overwhelming, creating friction during the search process. Returning users often repeat similar searches, highlighting the need for saved preferences and alerts. Agents also required location privacy to protect property owners. These insights guided the redesign.
UX Strategy
The redesign focused on creating a clearer and more intuitive property search experience. Filters were reorganized into logical groups such as property type, price, amenities, and location to simplify navigation. Map-based discovery was introduced, allowing users to explore listings geographically and even draw custom areas to search within. The design also protects seller privacy by displaying approximate property locations while keeping exact coordinates visible only to agents. Personalized accounts allow users to save searches and receive alerts when new listings match their criteria.
Design Direction
The visual direction aimed to create a clean and premium real estate experience. The interface emphasizes strong visual hierarchy, minimal clutter, large property imagery, and elegant typography. The goal was to build a modern, trustworthy platform that highlights listings while maintaining a refined brand identity.
Outcome
The new design creates a faster and more intuitive property search experience. Users can discover listings more easily, returning visitors benefit from personalized alerts, and the platform establishes a stronger and more scalable digital presence for the brand.
